School Lunches

It is proven that pupils who have good, healthy diets, particularly during the school day, are more productive and more able to focus. Please feel free to read the information below about meals and snacks in school.

You can also download the menu rotations supplied by Taylor Shaw, our school meal providers.

A Healthy School

Water Bottles
We provide all pupils with a water bottle and ask parents to ensure that it is washed, refilled with fresh water and brought to school each day. Spare bottles can be purchased from the school office.

Milk
Fresh milk is available for all pupils at morning break time. For children under 5 years old it is free, for older pupils there is a small termly charge. Milk is ordered directly from Cool Milk at Schools Ltd. (Tel: 0800 3897157), forms are available at the school office but must be returned directly to Cool Milk Ltd.

Fruit
As part of the National Fruit Scheme, all infant children are given a piece of fresh fruit at morning break time. Please let us know if you do not wish your child to have fruit. Older pupils may bring a healthy snack of fresh or dried fruit or vegetables but NOT nuts (due to severe allergies of several pupils across school) Please note that sweets, chocolate bars and nuts are not allowed in school at any time.
