Harvest Festival

15th February 2019 By Admin Linda

Friday 12th October was our Harvest Festival in school. We managed to squeeze 450 pupils and staff in to the hall, along with a huge collection of food and donations to the People’s Kitchen.

The service was opened by Y6 pupils dramatising a William Wilberforce. Y5 pupils read from the book of the prophet Joel and led our prayers. The choir performed beautifully and infant and junior pupils enjoyed singing some old favourites such as ‘Cauliflowers Fluffy’ and ‘Harvest Calypso’ and also some new hymns. What a wonderful way to celebrate the good things God gives us and to offer our support to others who need our help.
