Curriculum – Computing

Statement of intent:

At St. Margaret’s we understand the importance of a secure understanding of computing skills. Technology is ever-changing, and influences the lives of people around the world. Through our teaching of the three areas of computing (computer science, information technology and digital literacy), we inspire and equip our pupils with the skills to become confident and creative users of technology who are able to participate fully in their continued education and future employment. We will also provide children with the tools to engage with technology in a responsible and safe manner, in preparation for a life as citizens of an increasingly connected world.
