Representatives of the Green Team attended St John's EcoFest. They were invited by the REfUSE café to help with their 'smoothie bike' as part of our continuing work on reducing food waste.They did a brilliant job explaining the various smoothie options to their customers, putting together the smoothie mixture and attaching the blender to the smoothie bike. They impressed everyone with their excellent manners and professionalism. It was fantastic to see so many other St. Margaret's pupils, past and present, enjoying the EcoFest and stopping to sample a smoothie! All of the smoothie ingredients were donated to REfUSE to save them going to landfill so thank you to everyone who helped reduce food waste, especially our three Green Team Waste Warriors!
